Travelling with minors
Minors travelling with their father and mother must have a valid passport or must be included on their parents' passport. It is advisable to take your family record book or a birth certificate with you to prove parentage.
If you travel with minors and you are not their parents, you'll need to make sure you have all the papers required to enter Morocco. These measures apply to anyone accompanying minors, irrespective of their nationality and that of the minors.
Children are travelling with only one of their parents
As well as the passport and proof of parentage, you must remember:
- the divorce decree if the parents are separated;
- the father's authorization if it's the mother accompanying the minors.
Children are travelling without their parents
Before departure, the holders of parental authority fill out an official authorization to leave the country. The form must be accompanied by a copy of the proof of identity of the parent signing.
This form is indispensable for Morocco. Without it, minors cannot leave France without their parents.
On arrival in Morocco, those accompanying minors must also present a letter authorizing them to do so with the certified signature of both parents.
