Travel with your pet on La Méridionale
Whether you're going to Corsica or to Morocco on-board La Méridionale, you can now travel with your pet.
For reasons of hygiene and courtesy, our shipping company asks you to comply with some special rules.
Are you planning to go to Corsica or Morocco with your pet?
When you take the boat with your dog or cat, you need to organize things differently than for a normal trip to France or abroad. Discover everything you need to know for each destination.
Travelling with your dog, your cat, your bird, your hamster, etc.
However, no pet of any kind is allowed to access spaces reserved for travellers.
Depending on the ships and on your destination, you can book a place in the kennel for them or leave them in your vehicle during the crossing.
If you wish to travel by ferry with a large animal, like a horse, please contact us on +33 (0)970 83 20 20, our sales team will help you through the process.
Only guide and assistance dogs can stay with their owner throughout the crossing. These dogs may access the cabin and traveller spaces, such as the restaurant and promenade decks. They travel for free on La Méridionale ships.
Prepare your crossing
To take the boat with your pet, choose one of the ships that accept animals when you book.
Don't forget your pet's luggage!
- Remember they'll need their bowls, water, food, carrier, as well as a coin for the pen in the kennel!!
- Your pet must be mentioned on your booking in order to board. Also remember to bring the documents required for your pet's travel to and stay in Morocco.
