The Canonica Fair takes place at the beginning of June on the Mariana archaeological site in Lucciana.

Every Tuesday in June at 4:30pm, come along and discover the city of Bastia in a different way through extraordinary tales and legends narrated by a guide during a walking tour. This is followed by a private Corsican polyphonic chant concert and a tasting interlude of local produce.

For instance, there's Corte, one of Corsica's iconic perched towns, and a host of natural sites such as the Aiguilles de Bavella (Bavella Needles), Restonica Gorges and the chapels scattered across the Bozio.
VISITING CORTE IN JUNE
The town of Corte stands proudly in the heart of the mountains, halfway between Ajaccio and Bastia. It towers over the landscape, on its rocky outcrop, at 450 m altitude, and is frequently referred to as the custodian of Corsica's soul as it was named historic and cultural capital by Pascal Paoli. Its old town, which has remained architecturally quite simple, boasts the University of Corsica and its citadel hosts the Museum of Corsica.
AIGUILLES DE BAVELLA
This site is one of Corsica's most iconic with its wild, diversified nature. Admire the vista as the sun sets over the gigantic rock faces of the Aiguilles de Bavella that stretch to the sky above a very fragrant pine forest.
RESTONICA GORGES
During your getaway to Corsica in June, take advantage of the weather that's just perfect for hiking through Restonica Gorges. Take in the cliff scenescapes, roam through the valley and cool down in the torrent before heading to Lake Melo and Lake Capitello.
CHAPELS ACROSS THE BOZIO
The Bozio is the authentic, wild heart of Corsica. Several villages in the region are home to exquisite religious buildings, such as Sant’Andrea di Bozio with its amazing cathedral nestling in a chestnut grove and listed as a historic monument.

The village of Mazzola comprises 4 hamlets. It offers a breathtaking view over the Bozio and is a wonderful starting point for many hiking and trekking trails.
