Necessary documents for boarding to Morocco
To take the ferry to Morocco, passengers must present a reservation and a valid form of identification. Depending on the nationality and age of the traveler, other documents may be required.
The ships of La Méridionale carry passengers and their vehicles as well as freight. When purchasing your ferry ticket to Morocco, you can also book your meals in the form of a full board.
We accept all types of vehicles, including vans, on our ferries to Morocco. During boarding, you will need to present the vehicle papers to the crew members in addition to your identification and reservation.
Are you transporting goods between Marseille and Tanger by boat? Before departure, your driver must fill out the customs declaration and send it to our freight forwarder. This helps to streamline and expedite the check-in procedures.
It is also possible to transport a vehicle alone. We invite you to contact our freight service to arrange for your van to travel without a driver.
The ports of Tanger Med and Marseille experience heavy traffic, and roadworks may slow access to the docks. Keep this in mind and allow sufficient travel time! In case of delay, access to the ship may be denied.
