Nursery
Our Girolata and Kalliste ferries boast nurseries. Here, you'll find changing tables to change your baby.
Bottle warmers are also on hand for you to prepare your little ones' meals.
And, if you're dining in our restaurant or self-service, feel free to ask our staff to heat your baby's bottle in the microwave.
Play area
Children can run, play and make friends of their own age, under their parents' watchful eye in the play areas on-board Piana and Girolata.
"P’tits Moussaillons" (Little Sailors) challenge
During the summertime, La Méridionale sets up a fun-filled educational trail on-board its ferries to Morocco and Corsica. This entertaining and informative challenge, imagined every year hand-in-hand with a player committed to the environment such as Surfrider Foundation, WWF or the French Office for Biodiversity, makes children and their parents aware of the importance of protecting our seas and oceans.

Cabins designed for families
On our ferries to Corsica and to Tangier, you may stay in your cabin until the ship arrives in its destination port.
They can accommodate up to 4 people. Our shipping company provides folding cot beds for free to parents with young children, which are available from ship reception. However, if you've booked a cabin with a double bed you cannot set up a folding cot bed.
Your comfort is our priority and this is why each cabin is equipped with a storage space for your clothes, adjustable air-conditioning, as well as a TV with French national channels and Canal +.
All are beds come with a cosy quilt. This quilt ensures your comfort and hygiene as its cover is systematically changed and cleaned after use.
The cabin bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. You'll also find bath linen, soap and shower gel.

A few tips for taking the ferry with children
Minors must present valid proof of identity when boarding (passport, national ID card or travel document). Your family record book isn't enough for travelling to Corsica, Morocco or France.
Although our company proposes activities on-board such as a cinema
and a play area, feel free to bring board games, etc. with you to enjoy a great moment
with your family during your crossing to Corsica or Morocco.
We do our utmost to limit boarding time in Marseille, Tangier, Ajaccio and Porto-Vecchio. If you are heading to Corsica or Morocco with young children, remember to bring along a snack and a drink for them.
Proof of identity for children
All children, even newborns, must have valid proof of identity when boarding.
Unaccompanied minors
Unaccompanied children under the age of 16 on all Corsican routes and under the age of 18 on all other routes cannot travel alone on La Méridionale ships, find out more about the documents required for travelling to Morocco and to Corsica.
