Whether you're addicted to social media or just wish to chat to your family during your trip, thanks to the Wi-Fi La Méridionale proposes you can stay in touch with your loved ones and surf the web in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
If you're travelling for business, you can continue your work easily and deal with your emails to stay in touch with your customers.
When you're connected to La Méridionale's Wi-Fi network, you can chat with your friends via Messenger® or WhatsApp® as you relax in the comfort of your cabin or in our lounge.
This paying service, accessible throughout all passenger areas, except for outdoor decks and the parking deck, is delivered via satellite link so you can stay connected and check your e-mails.
1 hour, 3 hours or the whole crossing, choose the ‘Surf’ package that suits your needs* :
*the time of use is deducted as soon as the service is activated and the speeds are 1,500 Kbps (download) and 500 Kbps (upload). La Méridionale does not guarantee constant speeds during the crossing.

TO Connect to La Méridionale's Wi-Fi
If you bought your Wi-Fi plan before travelling (prepayment):
- Present your Wi-Fi coupon (issued during check-in) to ship reception to collect your voucher with access code
- Make sure you're in an area covered by our Wi-Fi network
- Activate the Wi-Fi on your device then select "La Méridionale Guest" network to access the login portal
- Accept the General Terms and Conditions of Use, then type in the access code (voucher code) to connect
If you buy your Wi-Fi plan on-board using a bank card:
- Make sure you're in an area covered by our Wi-Fi network
- Activate the Wi-Fi on your device then select "La Méridionale Guest" network to access the login portal
- Choose your plan, accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and of Use, then pay with your bank card
- Once payment is confirmed, an access code is generated (voucher code), so now you can connect
If you pay for your Wi-Fi plan on-board in cash:
- Go to reception or to the lounge bar to pay for the Wi-Fi plan you wish to use.
A voucher with an access code will be given to you when you pay. - Make sure you're in an area covered by our Wi-Fi network
- Activate the Wi-Fi on your device then select "XXXX" network to access the login portal
- Accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and of Use, then type in the access code (voucher code) to connect
A few tips
So that all passengers may enjoy La Méridionale Wi-Fi on-board without experiencing a slowdown in bandwidth, yourself included, we suggest you download episodes of your favourite series and large files before boarding our ship.
Mobile data: be vigilant!
We advise you to disable mobile data roaming to avoid surcharges related to connecting to the mobile network available at sea.
La Méridionale cannot be held liable in any way for additional charges your operator may request.
